Why was Harry acting like he was on drugs when he drank the Felix Felicis?

okay i loved the movie and everything but the part when Harry drank the Felix Felicis and was acting really hyper and idk just all around being weird didn't make any sense to me.. I have read the book and i don't remember it saying that the Potion made you like hyper and silly..
