Breaking out with bumps on the tops of my legs?

Im 82 years old(Im borrowing my Granddaughters account.),And I would like to know why Im breaking out with bumps which become like little sores when they dry.They do not itch,They are all over the tops of both of my legs.And each one is about a quarter of an inch apart.
