What are the requirements for renewal of pport,and what if my pport is still valid?

i want to renew my Philippine pport,but it still valid until 2012,?how long it will takes to get the new one?and what are the possible requirements?my old pport it was issued at Thailand Bangkok,last June 17 2008.my problem is it already broke for the reason i don"t know,at the right upper part of my picture,thats why i want to change it into new.
