I reeeallly need help!! What was that one Xfiles episode .. I think it was in the 8th season. Scully was at?

this old guy with a beard's house and her gun was drawn cuz she was protecting him from this monster. She heard some bumps on the roof and then she went outside. But the monster was only luring her outside and it killed the guy inside. I remember the camera shot of this scene - the guy thought he was safe and turned around and all the sudden the monster was there and it hissed at him. (presumably killing him in the next 3 seconds cuz he screamed). The monster had arms, legs, and a head just like a human but he was really weird looking. I was about 8 when I saw this 5 minute clip and I really would like to know what show this was!!!
