How hard is it to become an Alaska state trooper?

Right now I'm 19 doin security work in califonia I am planning on takin all tw criminal justice cles required for police work before I tuen 21 I really wanna move to Alaska how hard would it be to become a state trooper there? Also how is the general status of living on a police salary out there? Thanks guys
