Tretinoin cream for acne?? can i combine it? side effects?

so i got tretinoin cream today and i read that the acne gets WORSE in the beginning and that it will make ur skin terribly reactive to the sun. Can I combine tretinoin with clindamycin phosphate lotion? has anyone tried it? does it work? does it make acne worse? sun reaction? helppppp
