Snowboard beginner question Is my snowboard ok?

I have a used board and it is the right size. I'm just worried because it is pretty crappy. It's not broken, and there are no major flaws( such as big scratches) but i think it is a low end board. Does it matter if it is crappy since I am starting out. I have another board but it is 2 inches above my nose. I don't have enough money to get a new one either.
