Rental Rights - Need Advice!?

To make a long story short, we and our neighbor are moving out of our apt. at the end of the month after 2 LONG yrs and 1 bad experience after another. Our neighbor decided to record her apt while she was gone when it was being shown to potential renters (trust issues with our 22 yr old property manager). He told the kids he was showing the apt to that he has been and is trying to “weed out” the tenants that currently live here and that he would like to find people that are more age and culturally similar and that he flat out doesn’t like us and why (one reason being that we call the cops on the stupidest stuff and so on – but didn’t mention why the cops were being called and that it was on him for doing drugs in the building!). So not only is he racially discriminating our neighbor, he is age discriminating against us and is guiltily of Defamation of character against all three of us. Should I look more into this and contact my lawyer or just move out and hope I get my sec. dep. back?
