Name the space probe which sent valuable pictre and other data about mercury?

The first answer is correct. Mariner 10 and Messenger are the only space craft to ever visit Mercury. Mariner flew past it a few times but never entered orbit around Mercury. Messenger has ped Mercury a couple times so far and will eventually enter orbit to stay and get lots of closeup pictures.
