Guy accepting girls offer to buy him dinner..?

Ok, Im confused! I know this guy for the last two months and we have become friends. I must confess that I like him and have a lil crush on him. So, Im trying to him more. This may be a silly question but today(15th Aug,2010) I offered to buy him dinner since he didnt have wallet on him and he hasitaed once but then said okay. How should I judge him( I know I shouldnt but I do..lolz). Does his make him one of those guys who wants to be spoiled by girls and enjoy it or he accepted my offer cuz we are friends and friends arent formal? hmmmm.....PS: He bought me lunch a no. of times too..lolz
